THE CHALLENGES THAT AWAIT YOU

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the shipping and receiving processes are running smoothly. This is a contract of 15 months with the possibility of permanency.

  • Validates daily, all materials signed out from and returned to the warehouse during the off shifts
  • Updates the inventory pads and provides a full listing to warehouse supervisor.
  • Sends daily email providing a complete listing of all completed jobs including skid counts and jobs in rework.
  • Provides warehouse supervisor a listing of all jobs shipped the previous day
  • Prepares shipping data sheet, so that certificate of conformances and shipping documents can be created.
  • Inspects goods received (confirm amount with bill of lading)
  • Receives and places all incoming stock
  • Ensures same day put-away of all received goods, assigns to the appropriate department (Production, quarantine, stock, maintenance, etc) and advises proper individuals
  • Completes shipping and receiving documents
  • Monitors progress of the daily activities and informs the warehouse supervisor of any problem impacting the plan
  • Prepares goods for shipment: check quantity, transferring goods, wrapping skids,
  • Retrieves and prepares goods required for production (staging)
  • Takes Inventory of finished goods produced
  • Arranges all courier pick-ups that warehouse supervisor request.
  • Maintains inventory by tracking usage: Entering inventory in label print, uses scanner
  • Monitors inventory and report discrepancies
  • Cycle Counting
  • Daily safety check of the forklift
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Assists other departments as required
  • All other tasks as assigned

Your profile and skills

  • Strong Attention to details;
  • Keen sense of organization and responsibilities;
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to lift heavy material
  • Team Spirit, Strong team player
  • Dependable
  • Bilingual, English and French
  • Min. 1 year experience in similar position or warehouse position
  • DEC in related field preferred
  • Forklift Certification required
