Material Handler

Location: Lebanon KY
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 2nd shift (Mon.-Fri.; 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.) / 3rd shift (Mon.-Fri.; 11 p.m. – 7 a.m.)

Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role supports production operations by ensuring timely material deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory, and following safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Load, unload, and transport materials to/from storage areas, production lines, and docks
– Supply raw materials and packaging components to production lines as scheduled
– Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
– Perform inventory counts, stock reconciliations, and data entry using scanning systems
– Label and organize inventory in accordance with company standards
– Verify incoming shipments and report any discrepancies
– Prepare finished goods for shipment including labeling, palletizing, and documentation
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and production support areas
– Follow all safety procedures, including use of PPE and proper lifting techniques
– Communicate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure material flow

Required Skills & Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
– Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment for extended periods
– Basic computer and inventory system knowledge
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
– Effective communication and teamwork skills
– Willingness to work different shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed

Wage & Compensation:
Starting Wage: as per current Salary Grid
